In order to reawaken the sleeping giant of good leadership, participants from 20 countries are to converge in Abeokuta, Ogun State of Nigeria for a three day mega conference on leadership.
The conference, which is centred on Consequences of Weak Leadership, is also designed to address political, charismatic, tradition, general society and religion among others.
It is being organized by the Priesthood Leadership Development Initiative(PLDI), in collaboration with Christians Association of Nigeria(CAN) and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN).
The conference, according to its International Coordinator, Apostle Olusesi Obateye in a statement made available to newsmen, is scheduled to hold between 24-26 October at Treasure House of God, in Abeokuta, State Capital.
The statement indicated that, “The conference is to hold between 24-26 October, 2019 at Treasure House of God, beside Agbeloba House,177,Quarry Road, Abeokuta, Ogun State Capital. Twenty countries are participating in this mega conference and this is the maiden edition in Nigeria”.
Obateye said the conference, which is the maiden edition in Nigeria, had earlier held in seven countries which cut across Africa and Europe, adding that the participants have also declared their participation and have been arriving the country.
He stated that the Leadership Empowerment International Conference (LEIC) ‘is for political, charismatic, traditional, religious, general society leaders including students leaders’ among others,’ adding that adequate arrangements have been put in place for the period of the event
The Coordinator recalled that the conference kicked off operations in 2016 and has recorded resounding successes, assuring that the maiden edition in Nigeria will also not be left out of the success story.
