Access Bank Lagos City Marathon Gets N100m GAC Motors Support

The Access Bank Lagos City Marathon has received a big boost following a sponsorship grant to the tune of N100m from leading automobile company in Nigeria, GAC Motors.
The new milestone achieved by the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon was revealed to newsmen in Lagos on Thursday.
MD/CEO of Nilayo Sports Management Ltd, Bukola Olopade revealed that the GAC Motors’ sponsorship package is a big boost for the fast-growing annual Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.
“The agitations by the media that we have not strategically placed Nigerian athletes in terms of the reward has now been solved by GAC Motors, out of the seven cars they will be giving us, two will be going to Nigerians winners in our newly introduced 10km Road Race” Olopade stated.
The newly introduced 10km Race; tagged The Family Race will see the overall winners in male and female categories go home with choice GA3S car each donated by GAC Motors.
 Olopdade expressed great delight to GAC Motors for the exemplary leadership they are giving in the corporate world as it concerns sports sponsorship albeit more in athletics.
It is understood that twelve project cars and two rewards cars will be donated by GAC Motors.
Also, speaking on these new developments, the Marketing Manager for GAC Motors, Kayode Adejumo emphasized that the company is passionate about developing talents.
“We are committed to sports because we know it represents development, we are supporting this marathon because we know our cars have endurance. We are sure this partnership will yield positive results” the GAC Marketing boss stated.
On his part, the General Manager for the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon Yusuf Ali said all hands are already on deck to make the 2018 race a huge success, including a newly introduced 10km Road Race.
Ali explained that the organizers opted for the introduction of a 10km race in other to attract more participation and also see more people start and finish races.
