Chairman of Ladi Adebutu Development Organisation (LADO), Oladipupo Adebutu and Provost of Yewa College of Education, Prof. David Bamgbose have joined Christians all over the world to celebrate 2020 Christmas.
Adebutu, in a release signed by his Media Consultant, Afolabi Orekoya, calls on Christians to celebrate the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ with moderation not forgetting the significance of His birth as a gift to the world; and reflecting on His teachings which basically bothers on love.
He further admonished that the celebration of Chrismas should remind us of the need to love everyone around us, giving unconditionally, helping the less privileged amongst others.
Adebutu also Advises on moderate celebation, according to him
“This year’s celebration should be celebrated in adherence with
the guidelines for proper hygiene to protect against COVID-19 which include Regular and thorough washing of hands with soap and water; use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Regular use of face masks, covering of mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze and other preventive regulations.”
“We shall all enter 2021 in good health, happiness and wealth.” Adebutu prayed.
Bamgbose, in a personal statement, enjoined Nigerians to live in love and peace.
The clergyman prayed that the Yuletide would bring much needed peace in the country
“Christmas is a season of peace, the message of this season is of joy to humanity. I sincerely pray that this period will bring the much needed peace to our nation”, it concluded.
