The Governor-elect of Ogun state, Mr. Dapo Abiodun on Wednesday raised alarm over an alleged fraudulent recruitment being carried out in his name.

Abiodun denied having any link with the “Keep Ogun State Clean Corps” (KOSC) initiative being advertised by one “Dapo Abiodun Environmental Task Force” and spearhead by a certain Hassan Jimoh.

According to a statement signed by the spokesperson to the Governor-elect, Remmy Hazzan and made available to journalists, the promoters of the scheme seek to swindle unsuspecting people in the name of providing job opportunities.

The statement reads: “One Hassan Jimoh has been misleading the public on a purported plan of the Governor-Elect to employ 10,000 Youth (500 for each of the 20 LGA’s) as Environmental Sanitation Task Force in Ogun State “with good and Attractive Salary”.

“Anyone who deals with the said Hassan Jimoh, fraudulently operating with phone number 08106082908, does so at his or her own risk. Prince Dapo Abiodun has nothing whatsoever to do with the fraudster, who has already been reported to law enforcement agencies.”
