A member representing Abeokuta North/ Obafemi-Owode/Odeda Federal constituency in Ogun State, Micky Kazzim has denied misappropriating funds allocated for his constituency projects.

It would be recalled that some of his constituency members allegedly wrote a petition to the Economic Financial Crime Commission (EFCC), demanding probe of the projects allocated to the constituency in the past three years.

Kazzim who spoke to journalists in Abeokuta, the state capital, described the allegations as false and untrue, asking the petitioners to crosscheck the information in the ministry in charge of constituency projects.

He allayed fears of reprisal attacks following a recent clash between members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and APM which left some of his supporters injured while his campaign vehicles were shattered.

The federal lawmaker who seeking reelection for the seat on the platform of APM said that his victory at the poll would serve as reprisal attacks.

He described the ambition of his opponents as “dead on arrival”, saying his performance would earn him victory in the next Saturday’s election.

Kazzim said he has not been contacted by EFCC, saying the anti-graft agency not cowboys.
