Isiaka will bring development to Ogun State – ADC National Chairman

By Michael Adesanya/Abeokuta
The National Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC), Chief Ralph Nwosu on Thursday assured the people of Ogun State of pure and accelerated development if they voted for the state ADC Governorship candidate, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka.
He added that the party shall ensure politics of inclusiveness as well as gave the state the best developments in the history of the state.
Nwosu spoke in Abeokuta during ADC mega rally ahead of the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
The ADC National Chairman took a swipe at the state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun for his support for the APM governorship candidate, Adekunle Akinlade and the Governor’s senate ambition, saying Ogun State is not meant for him alone.

His words: “What I came here to do is to inaugurate your Governor not to  campaign. Now is the time, if you vote for him, Ogun will witness pure development”.

Nwosu who said the time of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has expired, insisted that Isiaka is the right man for the job, looking at his personality.
He said “It is time to say pack and go. A new tenant has arrived and the new landlord has been approved by the people of Ogun State. Not buy rigging or ballot buying but soon with their votes.

He warned the electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other major players to play by the rule.

He said “You have been senator for 4years and want to install somebody. Is Ogun State meant for him. We shall provide politics of inclusion. We will give Ogun State the best developments you have never seen before. Any INEC that want to destroy the will of the people will go to jail. Ogun State is 85% support for GNI.”
Isiaka  revealed that, the enormous human and natural resources in the State are enough to make the state greater.

He said the gateway state which has history of producing world leaders could become greater with opportunities given to the hardworking youths of the state.

Isiaka said his administration, if elected shall expand the scope of opportunities that abound in the state to enhance infrastructural, education, health, and socio-economic progress of the state.

He therefore enjoined INEC to remain neutral and discharge its responsibility without fear or favour to any candidate.

The governorship candidate however alleged plans by the opposition parties in the state of rigging the election, threatening to exhaust all legal procedures to challenge any manipulated results.

His words: “Ogun State has the potential to become greater. Greater in education, greater in good health care, greater in good infrastructure, greater with opportunities given to our brilliant and intelligent hardworking youths. Beginning on 29 May, 2019, we shall realise these potentials.  We shall expand the scope of opportunities that abound in the state to enhance infrastructure in this state.

“We are aware of plans to manipulate the election, but we will not allow that to happen. We shall protect our votes. Everything within the law shall be put in place to fight it. We enjoin INEC to remain unbiased umpire and continue to play the role of unbiased umpire.”

The carnival like rally witnessed musical performances from Fuji Musician, Saheed Osupa, Small Doctor, Dot man among others.
