Ogun 2019: APM has structure to emerge victorious – Kazzim

The Ogun State chapter of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) says it has a formidable structure to ensure its candidates emerge victorious during the general elections.
The party also believed that with the support of the masses, it would give major political parties a run for their money at the polls, a member of House Representatives, Mikky Kazzim, stated this on Wednesday at his reelection campaign flag off in Abeokuta.
The lawmaker said the APM came into being to right the wrongs  done to deny him and others their mandates.
His words: “It is a pity where we found ourselves in Ogun state now. If you have the love of your people  and you like to serve them, you will always want to and also my people love me, as you can see here today. This is different from a rented crowd. It shows I have a great structure. It shows APM has the structure to defeat any party in the state”.
He said he had the option of going to court to seek justice for the injustice meted to him in APC, but the massive support of the people of his constituency made him to see that he could get justice through ballot under another platform.
“I had an option of approaching the courts, but the overwhelming support and outpouring of solidarity by my people immediately after the fraud shows that I can actually seek and get justice through ballot during general elections, regardless of the party, as our records speak volume of our acceptance and popularity”, he stated.
On the proposed new minimum wage, the federal lawmaker said he was in full support of it but urged the federal government to regulate prices of commodities in order to avoid inflation.
His words: “I am in support of the minimum wage bill,  but we have to work on our price regulations first before this N30,000 or more because sometimes increasing salaries may lead to inflation, so we need to be careful in our doing in order to avoid excess money supply that can cause inflation”.
He promised to give dividend of democracy and robust sponsorship of bills that would elevate standard of living of his people, if they re-elect him.
The Governorship candidate of the APM, Abdulkabir Akinlade said Kazzim is an asset to the party hence the people must give him their support.
He said Kazzim, being his colleague at the national assembly, was always fighting for his people and that APM is the right party for them.
Akinlade, who commended the present administration of Governor Ibikunle Amosun, said the APM would frustrate any move to embrass Amosun.
He said “What they have done in other state, they cannot try it here.  Ogun state is the first in all areas and we continue to be the first, they will all learn from us, we will let them know this by our votes on the day of election.
“They want to to frustrate Amosun; they want to embarrass Amosun; but they don’t know its not just Amosun. Amosun is ogun state.  Amosun is an institution in Ogun state. I can assure that we will vote en-mass for Senator Ibikunle Amosun. We will vote for our father, President Muhammadu Buhari”, he stated.
