The Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ogun State chapter, Chief Yemi Sanusi on Thursday charged members of the party to work for the strengthening of the party in their domains by operating an open door policy to bring people on board.
Sanusi, who gave the charge while inaugurating the party’s Local Government caretaker Chairmen in Abeokuta, according to a statement signed by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Tunde Oladunjoye, urged them to work for unity and progress of the party.
He appealed to them to treat everyone as equal when the membership revalidation and registration starts
The Chairman said, “I charge you to move round your leaders and bring everyone on board. Remember we are starting soon, our party’s membership revalidation and registration. All those who present themselves for registration must be registered regardless of whether they have left the party in the past of not”.
Sanusi revealed that the congress of the party would come up in the first half of the year, urging the party men to work together as one in order to confront the opposition.
His words: “It therefore important that we work together as one to be able to confront our political opponents in the future”.
At the inauguration, party leaders from the three senatorial districts of the state were in attendance.
