Two Chinese nationals have been abducted at Oba community in Obafemi-Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
CITYVOICE gathered that the expatriates, working with a fishery and poultry company at Oba, were abducted on Wednesday.
Findings by our reporter revealed that the abductors stormed the farm at noon, shot sporadically and took the Chinese nationals to an unknown destination.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the state command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, confirmed the development on Thursday, saying Police operatives were working to locate the abductees and rescue them.
Abimbola explained that the abductors accessed the farm in the Oba community through Odo Ogun (River Ogun) and escaped with the captives through the same water.
The Police Command spokesman said a security team had begun combing the forest in search of the victims.
Governor Dapo Abiodun confirmed the development at the inauguration of the Amotekun Corps on Thursday in Abeokuta.
